Freycinet Emergency Management plans

The tender sort an organisation capable ofdeveloping Emergency Management plans for the Freycinet Peninsular. The deliverables were: Complete a risk analysis for the Peninsular. A Sub-Municipal Emergency Management Plan forthe Glamorgan Spring Bay Council GSBC(sub-MEMP) for the area based on theTasmanian Emergency Management plan template, addressing the needs of Emergency management authorities (TFS, SES, GSBC, Tas Police) primarily activities in PPRR from risks that are not covered in other EMPs. An EMP for the Peninsula based on the responsibilities of the PWS obligations and manpower capabilities. Include a skills and training needs analysis for PWS staff in the Freycinet Field Centre as a consequence of the analysis and plan production, this should be included as part of the EMP. Provide broad strategies that support PWS to adequately address its responsibility in Prevention & Mitigation,Preparedness, Response and Recovery (PPRR) from identified risks. These broad strategies are to be reviewed against current capability and gaps identified in that capability. The plans are to be documented in such a way as to enable a review of these plans as required under the Emergency Management Act (2006) and the development of other area and organisational plans. The plans shall provide the basis for an area emergency exercise, to be conducted in late 2010.
