Description
Tenders are sought from Intelligent Access Program (IAP) service providers for systems to improve reporting of contract performance for both free to the user and fare paying bus services in Tasmania. The aim of the tender is the provision of data of an evidentiary standard to aid in contract management through exception reporting. This will be undertaken via the use of a global positioning system (GPS), which is monitored by the third party service provider. The tenderer shall be capable of developing and monitoring an Intelligent Access Condition (IAC) and providing exception reports of temporal, spatial and speed non-compliant activities for the purpose of bus route compliance. In the case of fare paying services a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tap and go card is proposed to obtain concession passenger data. The successful tenderer will need to supply RFID card readers and passenger data transfer.
