Data collection,validation and reporting services to support the Australian Government Property Data Collection (PRODAC)

The Commonwealth of Australia represented by the Department of Finance and Deregulation (Finance) is making an open approach to the market in order to seek offers from organisations with the capacity and capability to provide data collection, validation and reporting services to Finance to support the Australian Government Property Data Collection (PRODAC) (Services).
Finance is looking to achieve business improvements in the collection and management of property data received from Agencies subject to the Financial Management and Accountability Act (FMA Act) <http://www.finance.gov.au/publications/flipchart/docs/FMACACFlipchart.pdf> for PRODAC. Finance requires Services that will:
• Introduce automation into the process of receiving, certifying and validating data from FMA Act Agencies;
• Provide data storage for PRODAC data, including data currently stored in Microsoft (MS) Excel spreadsheets;
• Enable better use of data at Agency, cross-Agency and all-Agency levels through the provision of pre-defined and ad hoc reporting; and
• Alleviate the administrative burden for the Property Framework Branch (PFB) at Finance and FMA Act agencies to facilitate compliance with the Commonwealth Property Management Framework.
