New bridge construction and associated civil works, Merri Creek Park lands, Campbellfield

Parks Victoria is seeking the services of an experienced and suitable contractor for the design and construction of a span bridge across Merri Creek, Campbellfield for the purpose of allowing access to adjacent parklands for maintenance and fire fighting vehicle access, as well as for linkage to the Merri Creek shared path network.

The works (this contract) include but are not necessarily limited to:

• Design and Structural engineering detailing of the bridge

• Site establishment

• Traffic, Pedestrian, Environmental/(Flaura and Fauna), Cultural Heritage management work.

• Creek vegetation clearing

• Excavation for proposed maintenance access track pavement

• Construction of a span bridge

• Placement of fill approach berms

• Temporary creek diversion works as required

• Supply, placement and compaction of crushed rock access track

• Supply and placement of concrete paving

• Supply and placement of rock beaching

• Installation of signage, hand railing

• Topsoiling and seeding of designated areas

• Landscape Planting and rehabilitation of waterway embankment
