Description

The Gateway Services will provide the primary means of electronic communications and firewall protection between the Department and external organisations, including the public.

Apart from Internet browsing and email services the Department servers and equipment attached to the gateway will be used to provide: -
* Numerous websites; and
* Remote access facilities into the Department`s network.

As such it is imperative that any prospective tenderer put forward a solution that has the ability to meet or exceed the Department`s requirements in an efficient, flexible and proactive manner.
