Event Management of the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards

The Western Australian Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards (WANMEA) is an annual campaign organised by the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office (CNMO) at the direction of the Minister for Health. The WANMEA is highly anticipated across the nursing and midwifery professions and open to all Western Australian (WA) nurses and midwives, irrespective of whether they work in the public, private, federal, non-government or education sectors. The WANMEA ceremony is a high-profile event attended by the Minister for Health and key health executives from all sectors.

The CNMO requires a suitably experienced and skilled event management company to manage, coordinate and deliver the WANMEA campaign for the term of the contract. This involves sourcing suitable external suppliers, sponsors and the management of event logistics. The WANMEA campaign represents the amalgamation of multiple components including nominations, shortlisting, judging, a presentation afternoon tea (nominally in March) and gala ball (nominally in May).
