Description
The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) is part of the Environment and Conservation and the River Murray Portfolio which is the responsibility of the Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation. The Portfolio comprises DEWNR, the Environment Protection Authority (EPA), and Zero Waste SA.
This Preferred Supplier Panel for scientific and pest animal control services in the SAMDB region will commence in September 2012 and run to the end of September 2013, with the option of a one-year extension to end of September 2014 and the further option of an additional one-year extension to end of September 2015. The decision to extend contract arrangements will be based on an annual review of supplier performance and departmental requirements. This panel is “open” for the life of the contract, meaning new suppliers are able to join at any time.
Services required by the department include the provision of scientific and pest animal control services including vegetation surveys, fauna surveys and abundant pest animal control. Further details are provided in Part B – Requirements & Specification.
