ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION AT RELEASE DATE (26.5.22)

The South Australian Housing Authority’s (the Authority’) is inviting suitably qualified suppliers to consider tendering for this Open Invitation to Supply (ITS) for the next generation of period contracts for HORTICULTURAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES of social / public housing properties on its range of medium density sites and complexes (those with common garden areas) across the State (as six contract areas across metropolitan and regional areas), as owned by the South Australian Housing Trust. The horticultural services required comprise both programmed (planned) and responsive maintenance services. The Authority’s procurement and contract reference is SAHA-197.

This invitation to supply (ITS) follows an Advance Notice as issued on SA Tenders and Contracts (ref SAHA051293) over the past few weeks.

It is important for interested organisations to take note of some immediate critical information if considering this tender opportunity. Please refer to all documents issued with the tender, however attention is drawn to reading in full and understanding all the details in document: ' Part A SAHA-197 ITS Horticultural Maintenance PROCUREMENT PROCESS GUILDELINES' document.

Initially, the organisation / tenderer's attention is drawn to the following crucial details:

1. An online Industry Briefing as an on-screen presentation will be held covering an overview of the procurement, scope, specification, contract, IT, response document details etc - on 8 June..

2. Site Visit briefing (at 2 sites) is planned on two selected example medium density sites (both metro) as an overview of the Horticultural Performance Standard (specification / services) - NOTE: conditions apply to register for attendance.

3. Select documents that are 'password' protected and contain confidential information - for access to the details in those documents and for attendance at the site visits - an organisation MUST COMPLETE a Disclaimer and Confidentiality Agreement.

4. Please note all Key dates that apply to the ITS conditions. The tender open period is 6 weeks.
