Description
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) requires the services of specialist environmental consultancies to assist with ensuring PTA compliance with the Contaminated Sites Act 2003 (CS Act). The PTA is responsible for approximately 80 contaminated sites within the Perth metropolitan and regional areas. The PTA has an ongoing funded program to proactively investigate, remediate and monitor its contaminated sites to ensure that the sites pose no risk to the environment or human health. The objective of the PTA’s program is to ensure that each site has a Department of Water and Environment Regulation (DWER) site classification which is appropriate for its current or planned land use.
