Overview of UQ Audio Visual Goods and Services Procurement and Supply
This ITO is proposed to allow Audio Visual goods and services to be supplied to UQ via an efficient ordering process. UQ currently purchases AV goods and services under an existing panel arrangement, which will continue in place until May 2019.This ITO has been issued in order to expand the existing panel. The initial term of the arrangements established under this ITO will be until May 2021 and existing panel members will be invited to transition to the new panel arrangement.
Audio Visual Services Background
The University of Queensland have over 1000 systems with AV equipment installed. AV Services are provided to the University by two teams AV Support & Integration and AV Projects. These teams are part of the Customer Support Services section within Information Technology Services and provide support and installation for all areas of Audio Visual within the University. The main areas serviced by these teams are listed below:
· AV System Design
· Physical Installation
· AV System Programming & Configuration
· Digital Signage
· Video Conferencing
· IPTV
· Lecture Recording
· Live Events
