Parks Online Booking Platform POBS Project Stage Two Selective RFT

The Crown, through the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (the Department) is seeking a suitably experienced and resourced Interested Party to develop and maintain an online booking solution for a range of PWS products, under the banner of the Parks Online Booking System (POBS) Project.

This is to implement an online booking and pass permit issuing system that significantly improves upon the functionality and reliability of the current booking options for PWS products – currently split across online, manual and honesty system processes. A reimagined booking landscape for the PWS through the POBS would provide an enhanced experience to PWS customers and consumers, while also bringing a range of PWS products online, and allowing for a range of benefits including labour productivity, system and consumables savings, broader accessibility, improved commercial partner and staff satisfaction, and improved reporting capability and data-driven decision making.
