Rosewood Drive Reconstruction - Bucasia Road to J4

Mackay Regional Council is seeking to undertake the construction of a new section of roadway, Rosewood Drive, from the Mackay Bucasia Road through to the western boundary of the Plantation Palms Estate. Included within the site of works is the frontages and access to site of the proposed Northern Beaches High School and the Northern Beach Central shopping centre development.

Generally, the scope of works covers:

• Provision for traffic management
• Environmental Management & Erosion and Sedimentation control
• Supply, Installation of longitudinal and transverse drainage infrastructure
• Earthworks generally • Landscaping and Irrigation supply and installation
• Construction of flexible pavement roadway and spray sealing and asphaltic concrete surfacing
• Shared Footway construction
• Installation of pavement markings and signage
• Utility conduit installation and construction of street light bases
• Provision for traffic signal loop detector installation
• Water and Sewerage main construction
• Survey Set out
• Compilation and submission of As constructed drawings and documentation
