Services for Vegetation Management (Slashing) for RoadTek Capricornia

Vegetation management under this SOA is the mechanical slashing of grass and other vegetation within the road reserve in a rural environment of State and National controlled roads. The primary objective is for all vegetation to be managed by slashing on each side of the carriageway from the edge of the seal or surfacing to a nominated width and height for the Rockhampton and Emerald areas.

The following shall be included as part of the work activities:

• Slashing of the road shoulders, sight lines at intersections, private accesses in rural areas and the inside of curved and clear zones;
• Assessment of the end product to ensure it meets the requirements of the Restoration Standard;
• Clean up of site if necessary to remove any undesirable vegetation/debris from the roadway.
