QRP-18-70 Station Accessibility Upgrade Program Expression of Interest

Queensland Rail's Station Accessibility Upgrade (SAU) Program (Tranche 3) is underway. The program includes five (5) completed station projects, three (3) station projects under construction and one (1) station project in tender. Other station projects are in the pre-tender stage. The SAU Program is focused on providing an independently accessible Primary Path of Travel, at each station, from the Queensland Rail property boundary to the raised assisted boarding point on all platforms including grade separated cross corridor access through provision of a footbridge or underpass with lifts, stairs and access to required accessible customer facilities.

Queensland Rail is seeking Expressions of Interest from Principal Contractors to successfully deliver the upgrades to these stations within the agreed time and cost constraints.

In December 2018, Queensland Rail introduced a Contractor Safety and Environment Management (CSEM) Process to develop and deliver a best practice Contractor Safety Management Process for Queensland Rail to combat the spike in the number of high potential incidents involving contractors. The Dakabin Station Accessibility Upgrade works and subsequent contractors are required to comply with this new process. HOW TO TENDER:
For this Tender (QRP-18-70), please read the attached Information to Tenderers document attached for all QTenders registered companies to download. From there the Tenderer will need to determine if they would like to proceed to a Tender response.
Tenderers who wish to download all documents and submit a response please follow the below instructions;
1. Tenderers will be required to register to the SAP Ariba eSourcing system by sending an email to the nominated Contact Officer ([email hidden]).
2. If the Tenderer elects to submit a Tender response, they must do so by using Queensland Rail’s online tendering tool (SAP Ariba eSourcing).
3. Tenderers are encouraged to carefully read all documentation available for download in the SAP Ariba eSourcing System.
Queensland Rail will only accept tender responses submitted via the SAP Ariba eSourcing System.
