National Program Support Service Program–BSR Risk Mitigation Programme - RAAF Base Williamtown HV Equipment Replacement

The works are described as follows:
The Scope of the design is to replace the local emergency generator (LEG) attached to facility 403 and the RMU at Substation 21 to achieve compliance with relevant Australian Standrads and Defence standards.

The scope of supply, services and works to facility 403 shall include, but are not limited to, the provision for a new ventilation and fuel system, replacement of existing generator with a new local emergency generator including battery charging facility, new external load bank and new cabling; new building main switchboard and mains cabling; removal of old main switchboard and associated old building mains cabling; new generator room distribution board and sub mains cabling; removal of old generator room distribution board and sub mains cabling; new generator room luminaires, lighting controls and sub-circuit cabling; new final power general circuit cabling; reconnection of all existing sub-mains to new building main switchboard; reconnection of all existing lighting and power sub-circuits to new generator room distribution board; testing of emergency luminaires; power Control & Monitoring System (PCMS).

The scope of supply, services and works to Substation 21 shall include, but are not limited to, replacement of existing RMU with a new RMU including the ability (but not the supply) to retro-fit motor operation of feeder switches; new substation luminaires, lighting controls and sub-circuit cabling; testing of emergency luminaires; power Control & Monitoring System (PCMS) signal contacts from new RMU.
