Two Rocks Marina Boating Facility Upgrade 2015 Marine Construction Works

1.1 General

This RFT relates to a capital works program by the Department of Transport (DoT) to upgrade the boat launching facilities at the Two Rocks Marina. The work is summarised below and the Works under this Contract are anticipated to commence in mid to late 2015.

1.2 Scope of Works

The Works under this contract include but are not limited to:

1. Widening of the boat launching ramps;
2. Provision of a 50m long floating jetty;
3. Reconstruction of the revetment wall;
4. Establishment of a landing beach;
5. Installation of solar powered lighting; and
6. Partial demolition and repair of the existing jetty.

The outcome of successful execution of the Works under this Contract shall be:

1. Provision of two 4m wide boat launching lanes;
2. Increased boat queuing capacity; and
3. Reduced wait times and improved public safety.
