Details
Description
The Governments of Indonesia and Australia entered into the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) in March 2019, creating a framework to unlock the vast potential of the bilateral economic relationship. The Agreement will enter into force on 5 July 2020. To support this ambition, the IA-CEPA includes a new Economic Cooperation Program (ECP).

The primary objective is to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of IA-CEPA to increase two-way trade and investment that is broad based and inclusive. The anticipated budget is $40 million in official development assistance (ODA) over five years.
