Business Licence Finder (BLF) Website and Data Collection and Maintenance Services

The Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) (the “Customer”) is a State Government Statutory Authority whose purpose is to unleash Western Australians’ enterprising business spirit.

The Business Licence Finder Service (‘the BLF’) is a critical component of a service that the Customer provides to aspiring and existing Western Australian (WA) small business owners. This online service enables a person to identify all the relevant licences, permits and codes of practice across three tiers of government that they may require to operate a business within WA. The significant benefits of this service include the saving of time and money by WA businesses, improving regulatory compliance and providing a one-stop shop to identify compliance requirements.

In addition to providing the BLF, the successful Respondent will support WA’s participation in the online Australian Business Licence and Information Service (ABLIS) through the delivery of content to that service. ABLIS is delivered by each State and Territory Government under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commonwealth.

The Customer requires the successful Respondent to deliver (a) the Business Licence Finder service (BLF website – production site) and (b) the collection and maintenance of related data sets for Western Australian state and local government for the ABLIS.
