Darling Point Special School - SIE Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for submissions for the refurbishment of multiple classrooms and toilets at Darling Point Special School, located at 368 Upper Esplanade, Manly QLD 4179 as part of the Schools Infrastructure Enhancement Program.
The refurbishments span across multiple rooms, including carpentry, joinery, electrical, flooring and glazing. Tenderers will need to consider the unique enviroment of working in a special school and and structure their own staged program to work in with the needs of the school.

All works are to be completed during Term 4, but must be finished prior to the end of term so the students can familiarise themselves with the new spaces before going on holidays.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a minium QBCC Builders licence and ability to undertake the entire scope of works.Tenders will be assessed on price and non-price, and tenderers are encouraged to demostrate experience working in challenging ‘live’ evironments such as special schools.
