Bayswater Train Replacement Layover - Bus Embayment Construction

The Public Transport Authority operate train replacement buses when planned and unplanned activities or incidents occur on the Transperth train network. With the opening of the Ellenbrook Train Line train replacement buses will operate from Bayswater Station in addition to those that could also be required for any disruption to the Midlands or Airport Train Lines. In the event that there are simultaneous disruptions to all three train lines it is foreseen that large volumes of train replacement buses would need to operate from Bayswater Station. The PTA seeks the provision of Works, including (but not limited to): the pre-construction planning required for the delivery of a bus layover at the identified location on Railway Parade, near Clavering Road, Bayswater. This will include all necessary traffic management and noise management plan (if required) preparation and submission to the relevant approving authorities. Any required liaison with identified underground utility asset owners should also be completed to receive advise on any constructability issues and methodologies. This liaison should result in ultimate approval being obtained to proceed to construction.establishing a works compound as necessary and obtain all necessary landowner approvals for the period of construction.any required underground service location.the construction of a train replacement bus layover in accordance with the scope detailed on drawing number 910/10 (Bus Stop on Railway Parade after Clavering Road, Bayswater – Rev03).as-constructed drawings submitted to the PTA as digital files on project completion.
