NHMRC wishes to establish a comprehensive panel of providers with relevant expertise to assist NHMRC with the development and presentation of evidence based health advice and resources including:
(a) clinical practice and public health guidelines;
(b) systematic reviews and literature reviews;
(c) public statements; and
(d) information papers.
Tenderers selected for inclusion on the panel will have a sound understanding of, and demonstrated expertise in any or all of the following specialised areas:
(a) evidence based guideline development processes;
(b) research methods and evidence appraisal including the development of systematic reviews;
(c) quantitative and qualitative analysis of scientific, medical and health information including but not limited to research methodology, epidemiology, biostatistics and health economics; and
(d) writing and editing of health and medical related documents, including evidence-based guidelines.
The panel will form an essential element of NHMRC’s health advice development processes, supporting the translation of research into policy and practice according to NHMRC publications development criteria.
