Industry Based Communications Training and Education

Headquarters Training Command-Army (HQ TC-A), invites responses to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the commercial delivery of industry Based Communications Training and Education to the Defence Force School of Signals (DFSS).

The DFSS provides Command and information Systems and Electronic Warfare Training to a range of trades and service personnel across the Australian Defence Force. To achieve the desired outcomes the DFSS currently utilises numerous training organisations for delivery of industry based Information Systems and Communications competency training and Education through individual contracts.

The DFSS is seeking to expand the delivery of industry based competency training through the engagement of a commercial training provider. Commerical Training organisations are invited to submit a proposal for the Commercial Delivery of Industry Based Communciations Training and Education to the DFSS.

The RFP is the first stage of a proposed two stage procurement process for the acquisition of commercially delivered training and education to the DFSS. The RFP seeks ideas and options from Registered Training Organisations to deliver industry based competency training, including the provision of instructors, training materials and assessments tools with the intent to imbed the commercial training organisation into the DFSS at Simpson Barracks, Macleod, Victoria.

An Industry Brief and tour will be held on Wednesday 13 December 2006 commencing at 10.00am at the DFSS, Simpson Barracks, Macleod, Victoria. All interested potential suppliers are encouraged to attend the Industry Brief.
