WHOLE OF GOVERNMENT RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY PURCHASE

The South Australian Government intends seeking Expressions of Interest relating to the purchase of renewable electricity for sites becoming contestable on the 1 January 2003. Responses are intended to be sought from organisations that wish to submit proposals that will stimulate the development of renewable generation in South Australia and that are capable of supporting a multi-site contract. Expressions will be welcomed from organisations that do not currently hold a retail license in South Australia. Prior to the release of Expression of Interest documentation a briefing will be held to provide information relating to this process on Wednesday 27 February 2002.
