CHIIP are seeking a Network Engineer (Infrastructure) for a client- and vendor-facing role, capable of taking the lead in meetings and proactively resolving issues as they occur. This role will be directed by HSS to: The Network Engineer will undertake physical network discovery activities within Health Service Provider environments, including hands-on tracing, identification, labelling, and documentation of existing Ethernet and fibre cabling to support switch-over (transition) readiness. ? Provide technical expertise to plan, execute, and test the switch-over of end-user equipment from the legacy network to the new segregated health Local Area Network (LAN). Utilise endpoint analysis tools to identify devices and ensure correct tagging within the appropriate micro-segments. Analyse equipment traffic profiles using endpoint analysis tools to ensure firewall rules and access control lists (ACLs) are correctly configured to support communication between micro-segments. Develop treatment plans using pre-determined templates, providing detailed checklists to support equipment switchover activities.
