Durham Crescent Landslip - Design and Construct of Remedial Works

Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the design and construction of land slip remedial works in Durham Crescent, Buderim.

A site inspection will be held on site at 15-17 Durham Crescent, Buderim on Tuesday 17 January 2012 at 10am.

The works are limited to the stabilisation of the existing road which has been compromised by a landslip on adjacent residential properties. It is likely that the works will include a piled retaining wall structure which will be backfilled to the level of the existing road pavement, associated drainage works and finished with a concrete footpath and guard rail / hand rail.

This is a lump sum, design and construct contract based on the technical specification provided which includes references to possible alternative strategies. Selection of the successful contractor will be based on the design and methodology provided, relevant expertise and experience, cost, and demonstrated ability to meet the necessary timeframes for delivery of the project to ensure that Council meets the expectations of the community.
