Veresdale Scrub SS - Refurbishment to Block A and Playshed (With Design Responsibility) 34-165619

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of structural rectification and refurbishment works to Block A & the existing Playshed at Veresdale Scrub SS, located at 354 Veresdale Scrub School Road, Veresdale Scrub QLD 4285, as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

Block A and the playshed are original school buildings dating back to the late 1800’s and require significant structural re-works to maintain the buildings. Works include removal of ACM, Lead Paint and general refurbishment once structural works are complete. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by May 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
