Coolum State High School Performing Arts Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a the Performing Arts Block Roof Replacement at Coolum State High School, located at Havana Road East, Coolum Beach QLD 4573 as part of the SIE (School Infrastructure Enhancement) Program.

The works include the roof replacement to the entire Performing Arts Block as well as the replacement of the existing ceiling to all habitable spaces within the building. The position of the building is at the back of the school campus, adjacent the oval, with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2020.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
