GG-04 Engineering Services, Golden Gate TSF

The Golden Gate Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) is located 6km North-West of Croydon adjacent to the Croydon to Normanton Road. The site is classified as an abandoned mine and managed through the Abandoned Mine Lands Program (AMLP), which is administered by the Technical Services team within the Department of Resources (DoR).

Previous inspections have identified some emerging issues with the drainage and capping systems at the Golden Gate TSF, requiring further maintenance (remedial actions) to ensure continued safe, secure and durable storage of tailings over the long-term. This procurement is for the provision of engineering services to determine the necessary remedial works; and prepare a document package that can be used to seek funding as well as subsequent tendering and execution of the works.

This scope of works in intendered to be delivered in four stages with final deliverables to be completed by 14 August 2023.
