Description
The Department of Transport and Main Roads invites offers for the provision of an asphalt shear box for bituminous materials as specified in Section 1 - Requirements.
Apparatus complying with the following:
- Austroads test method AG:PT/T220 - Compaction of asphalt slabs suitable for characterisation.
- Austroads test method AG:PT/274 – Characterisation of flexural stiffness and fatigue performance of bituminous mixes.
- Capable of manufacturing an asphalt prism that can be cut to produce four to six beams suitable for flexural stiffness and fatigue performance testing. Austroads test method AG:PT/274.
