Alexandra Hills SHS - Amenities Refurbishment

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Amenities Refurbishment project at Alexandra Hills SHS , located at 3-27 Windemere Rd, Alexandra Hills QLD 4161, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The works consist of the reconfiguration and upgrade of student and staff amenities in two locations on the school site. The works are proposed to be staged with the main amenities building refurbishment commencing in the September holiday period and continuing into term 4 and the smaller English block amenities commencing in the December break and being completed early in term 1 of 2024. All works are to be completed by February 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 Million.

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
