The Department of Police and Emergency Management (DPFEM) has established the Forensic Systems Upgrade Project to achieve 2 key outcomes: To achieve the extension of the Forensic Register system, the existing in-house developed Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) will be decommissioned. This will require the development of a data migration strategy to support the migration of the existing LIMS data to the new Forensic Register system. DPFEM are seeking the services of a highly skilled data quality assessment specialist to assist in understanding the quality of the existing LIMS data, understand the level of cleansing/transformation required to support migration to Forensic Register and what, if any, data may require an alternative approach for maintaining accessibility.
