Description
DCP is seeking suitably experienced and resourced Suppliers to provide Residential Care: Disability services for children and young people under the guardianship of the Chief Executive.
This Invitation to Supply consists of two main areas:
- Stage 1: Application for DCPspre-qualified list
- Stage 2: Tender for 36 Residential Care: Disability placements
The Department for Child Protection is committed to ensuring children and young people with disability in residential care are in a placement that provides a therapeutic response to their disability, developmental and trauma support needs.
Residential Care: Disability placements provide children and young people in care with quality services that are consistently therapeutic, culturally safe and responsive to children and young people’s needs so they can reach their full potential.
A tender briefing was held on Monday 20 July 2020 to discuss potential future Residential Care: Disability opportunities, such as:
- the establishment of a prequalified list of providers for the provision of Residential Care: Disability placements
- a future service model for Residential Care: Disability placements
