Description
Design and deliver a two day graduated exposure to viewing objectionable material package focused on psychological support and strategies for Australian Border Force (ABF) Officers who are required to undertake prolonged viewing and classification of objectionable material including child abuse material
The package should provide the foundation for Officers and Managers to build resilience and coping strategies, including:
• Resilience and other strategies to mitigate impacts of viewing objectionable material
• Identifying triggers and risk factors
• Identifying problematic distress in yourself and others
• Adaptive work practices
• Stress management and coping skills
• Improving your overall well-being
• Managing the potential impacts on family
• Getting help
• Other helpful resources
