Standing Offer for the Provision of Software Design and Development

A key activity within the Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Division is the design, development and demonstration of information and communication technologies for current and future Australian Defence and Nation Security for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Division capabilities. Industry support to this is critical. The requirement is to provide support to Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Division, Research and Development in the form of software engineering expertise at one or more levels ranging from a graduate software engineer to a specialist with team leader experience.

The specified personnel shall satisfy the following essential requirements.

a) Tenderer's ability to provide suitably qualified and experience personnel with Defence Secret security clearance or with checkable backgrounds that facilitate a timely clearance process (Australian citizen and traceable ten year history).

b) Languages C++, Java

c) Design and development of user-friendly applications, particularly web-based. (Technologies might include Apache, IIS, AXIS2, Ajax, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Java Server Pages/ JSP technologies, Swing and SWT).
