Provision of Cultural Awareness Training Programs

The service provider(s) will:
develop and deliver to the AFP a flexible and enduring program of cultural awareness training;
provide state of the art cultural awareness training methodologies and resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the learning environment, including the provision of highly qualified instructors;
be expected to:
establish a close working relationship with the AFP and its members;
recognise the importance, and endorse the philosophy of cultural awareness training as the vehicle for policing in a multi-national environment;
be innovative in its approach to the incorporation of current and emerging cultural awareness training practices and technologies; and
meet changing needs for cultural awareness programs in accordance with operational requirements.

The service provider(s) will be required to provide training programs at a number of domestic and international locations. The service provider need not be based in all locations but must be prepared and have the capacity and capability to conduct training programs in all locations as required.
