Description

The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) invites Expressions of Interest from urban planning and design consultants for the first stage of a two-stage tender process to appoint a site Masterplan Design Team. Heritage, urban planning and design consultant specialists are sought to work as a multidisciplinary team providing a range of site, facility and exhibition planning expertise. The Masterplan design will set out the conceptual design and planning approach to the redevelopment of the entire site and will provide the opportunity to harness the unique potential of the TMAG waterfront site in Hobart, bringing together the urban context, important heritage buildings and features and archaeology, introducing contemporary design and providing the framework for an outstanding gallery and museum experience.
