Savage River Rehabilitation Project - Biological Survey of Main Creek and Savage River 2007-08

Tenders are being sought from suitably qualified consultants who wish to be considered for the provision of a biological survey of Main Creek and Savage River during Spring 2007 and Autumn 2008. The Departement's requirements will invlove physical sampling of fish and macroinvertebrates at identified sampling sites and an assessment of key physical habitat variables at all survey sites. The Savage River Rehabilitation Project involves the remediation of historical acid drainage sources on the Savage River Mine site and is a joint venture between the Department and Australian Bulk Minerals.
