Description
The purpose of the project is to map Tasmania’s agricultural estate to support the recalibration of the two Rural Zones, the Rural Zone and the Agriculture Zone, in the draft Tasmanian Planning Scheme (TPS).
The consultant is required develop a methodology to analyse and map the land area considered suitable for application of the draft TPS Agriculture Zone and complete Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping for the land suitable for inclusion within the draft TPS Agriculture Zone
The (GIS) mapping produced must be suitable for application in a land use planning context and as far as practicable follow cadastre.
