Interested parties are invited to submit a proposal to the Department of Primary Industries and Regions SA in accordance with the instructions for the Provision of Veterinary Diagnositic Services.

**** If Contractors wish to register the attendance of more than two representatives at the briefing session (up to a maximum of five people per organisation), PIRSA will take nominations and will notify you by 5pm on Monday 4th August if we are able to accommodate all representatives.*****

PLEASE NOTE - A reminder to all respondents that registration for the briefing on Thursday 7th August should be submitted to [email hidden] by 5pm SA time today (31st July 2014). The registration form is attached to Part A Request for Proposal.

****PLEASE NOTE the following amendments to RFP PIRSA 026088

1. RFP PIRSA 026088 VDS Part D1 Provision of Service Response has been replaced by RFP PIRSA 026088 VDS Part D1 Provision of Service Response V2 on Pages 24, 43 and 63.

  • The changes in this document apply to Question 7.1 (there is an addition to this question regarding Compliance with Part B Requirements and Specifications)

2. RFP PIRSA 026088 VDS Part D2 Price Response D2a Roseworthy has been replaced by RFP PIRSA 026088 VDS Part D2 Price Response D2a Roseworthy V2.

  • The change relates to a paragraph in the Insturctions tab regarding space at the Roseworthy Laboratory and some modifications regarding available space in Table 5

3. There are some changes to the mandatory requirements in RFP PIRSA 026088 VDS Part A Request for Proposal Page 6 under Section 3 Scope, Part B Requirements and Specifications Page 3 under Location of the Laboratory and Part D1 Provision of Service Response Pages 9 and 10

  • The change relates to molecular diagnostics - there is an added requirement to have the ability to perform the HT JD PCR. There is also a note that although it is not mandatory that Johnes Disease Faecal Culture is performed in South Australia but we consider it highly desirable.
