Provision of an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS)

The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO), seeks to procure a
commercial-off-the-shelf Electronic Document and Records Management
System (EDRMS) in order to:

(a) replace CARMS, the ANAO`s current corporate system for managing
and tracking physical files and records;
(b) manage email and documents as electronic records;
(c) bring structure and discipline to the information contained
within personal and shared network drives and email;
(d) improve evidentiary and records compliance of the information
contained within personal and shared network drives and email;
(e) improve work practices associated with managing email, document
and records;
(f) enable linking of evidence to audit reports;
(g) improve reliability, accuracy, authenticity and integrity of records; and
(h) enhance access, search and retrieval of information.
