Description

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is running a two stage tender process comprising of an open Expression of Interest (EOI) for the below described works. Following on from the evaluation of the EOI GMW intends to invite shortlisted contractors to submit a tender response.

Works & Services:

The principal item of Work to be executed under the contract is the remediation of concrete expansion joints in the spillway chute floor including:

  • Transverse and longitudinal joints exhibiting damage are to be saw cut with damaged concrete removed.
  • New expansion joints are to be constructed, with the new sections of concrete tied to the existing spillway chute slab with grouted angled deformed reinforcing bars (stainless steel).
  • Differential movement across the expansion joints is to be minimised through the installation of plain round stainless steel dowel bars.
  • PVC waterstops are to be installed to minimise dynamic loads on the spillway chute slab generated by water penetrating the joints during spillway operation.
  • The supply, delivery and curing of premixed concrete for repair of the Eildon Dam spillway chute slab joints.

Works are to be engaged under the Victorian Public Sector – Minor Works Contract
