NATIONAL WINE CENTRE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PRODUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF EXHIBITION GRAPHICS

The National Wine Centre, currently being built in Adelaide, will include an exciting permanent feature exhibition. Exhibition design is well advanced, construction works have commenced with a scheduled opening in mid 2001. Expressions of interest are invited from experienced companies with the ability to produce and install graphic displays for museum exhibitions. A variety of graphic production methods will be used including, but not limited to: screen-printing, masked spray, etching, lambda quality digital printing, laser cutting and photo etching. The above graphic production methods will be applied to a range of materials including glass, metal, vinyl, durotran & acrylic. The work may also include laser cutting of 40mm acrylic to form a contoured map. Those expressing interest are required to submit the following information: - Details of in-house capabilities to carry out both the production and installation for work described in the above paragraph, and identification of any sections of work that would be subcontracted (including the proposed sub-contractor) - Details of the name, scope of work and cost of projects completed in the last two years - Details of current work commitments including scope of work, contract value and anticipated completion dates - Evidence of ability to work to a tight construction program in a complex work environment - Company information including company structure, staff numbers, insurance certificates, letter from an accountant or bank confirming the financial stability of the company. - Other relevant information It is expected that a contract for graphics production and installation will be tendered by the end of January 2001, with graphic production and installation carried out in March, April and May. No expression of interest will necessarily be accepted.
