Description
Proposals are invited from suitably skilled consultants for Brief T2/00, to investigate the feasibility of and develop a detailed concept design for a strategic floating litter collection facility on the River Torrens at/near the outlet. As a component of the Board’s physical works program, the Board, in conjunction with the City of Charles Sturt, wishes to investigate the feasibility of constructing a facility which can capture floating litter and other gross pollutants to prevent their discharge into Gulf St Vincent. A range of concepts utilising existing and/or innovative new technology need to be explored in consultation with stakeholders and the local community. Enquiries should be directed to Mr Andrew Thomas on telephone 8271 9190 or facsimile 8271 9585. Neither the lowest nor any offer will necessarily be accepted.
