Description
The type 2 diabetes guidelines listed above were originally developed in 2004 and 2005.The NHMRC requires that guidelines are reviewed every five years and, as such, these guidelines are due for review.
The Department of Health and Ageing requires these guidelines to be updated to ensure nationally consistent evidence based information is available to support health professionals to provide optimal diabetes care and to assist people living with diabetes to manage their condition.
