This national social marketing program aims to increase awareness of the risk factors for chronic disease as well as improve Indigenous people(s)’ awareness of, and access to, health care services and programs that better promote and manage their health and wellbeing. The strategy emphasises grass-roots, community-driven health promotion through funded partnerships with community organisations and Indigenous media organisations.

Local Community Campaignswill encompass a comprehensive program of tailored local community campaigns to promote better health delivered in urban, regional and remote settings across the country.
