Description

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) intends to establish a panel of training service providers who can offer cost-effective and efficient solutions for security-related training requirements.

These requirements include: certificates in security operations, fire extinguisher familiarisation training, first aid, x-ray screening, protect self and others using basic defensive tactics, advanced defensive tactics and mail room screening.

Training providers with expertise in one or more of the areas detailed in the Statement of Requirement may tender for appointment to the panel arrangement.

The term of the panel arrangement shall be three years. Where there is an identified need for continuation of the services, DPS may extend the term for two further one-year periods.

The services under this panel arrangement may also be purchased by the Department of the Senate or the Department of the House of Representatives from time to time.
