Provision of Password Policy Management and Blacklist Solution - Specops

The Department of Education (Department) is required to align with government policies and practices including those pertaining to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Cyber Security. This includes implementing a password filtering solution to blacklist commonly used and weak passwords. In order to ensure good Cyber security practices and address this for all staff accounts, the Department investigated a number of solutions that would integrate with its existing environment and meet a number of requirements.

Specops Password Policy and Protection and its associated Password Auditor addressed all the Department’s requirements. The Department is seeking establishment of a contract for Specops Password Policy and Protection solution with a reseller of the solution.
