Description

The Queensland Parliamentary Service is seeking proposals for the upgrading of data cabling located throughout Parliament House.

The project primarily consists of full design and construction, with the extent of the work to include:

  • the design, including all necessary calculations, certification, supply, delivery, installation and commissionng of all required systems as covered in the detailed Specification Document and associated drawings;
  • the provision of materials, labour, consumables, tools, plant, appliances, accessories and fixing necessary for the completion of the works;
  • the co-ordination of works with other trades and subcontractors ie: carpenter, carpet layer etc; and
  • the provision of detailed drawings including schematics, design development, construction issue, workshop and as-built drawings for the completed construction.

As Parliament House is recognised as a Queensland Heritage Place in the Queensland Heritage Register, all work must be completed in accordance with the applicable Exemption Certificate issued by the Department of Environment and Science.
