The Australian Defence Organisation is currently acquiring three new air warefare destoryers (AWD). The acquisition and acceptance of these platforms will include a testing and evaluation (T&E) requirement for the undersea warfare (USW) sonar system. Part of the T&E will include at sea testing on these sonars at suitable locations.
