For The Provision of Interim Basic Flying Training (IBFT) Services For The ADF.

The Royal Australian Air Force Is Seeking Registrations of Interest From Industry For The Provision of The Above Services. The Aim of This Invitation to Register Interest (ITR) Is To Identify Suitable Organisations With The Capacity To Provide The Required Services And To Facilitate Consultation With Industry.

This ITR Is The First Phase In A Two-Phase Procurement Process And Offers Will Be Sought From A Short List Of Suppliers Selected From Organisations Responding To This ITR.

The IBFT Contract Is Expected To Commence Flying Training In Early 2012 And End Once Project Air 5428 Takes Over That Role In About 2018. An Implementation Period of Up To 15 Months Is Planned.

Prospective Respondents Should Note That The IBFT Contract Is Largely Based Around The Services Currently Provided For ADF Basic Flying Training (BFT) And Flight Screening Program (FSP) And Is Separate To The Much Broader Requirements of Project Air 5428.

FSP And BFT Are To Be Delivered In Accordance With Commonwealth-Supplied Curricula. Prospective Respondents Should Note That The RAAF Is A Registered Training Organisation And That The Successful Contractor Will Be Required To Comply With The Australian Quality Training Framework.
